A holistic focus should be a “top priority” for APAC employees
Flexibility, a sense of belonging, and support are the three biggest demands of employees
To stay competitive, business leaders have to look at their Employee Value Proposition

Reward Gateway‘s report revealed that practical, holistic support for health and wellness is now a “top priority for employees.”

The report cites that employees are demanding more. Employers need to be the ones to make the decision on when and how they can help create a holistic environment, or risk losing their top talent. The report recommended that for employers to “stay ahead” they need to think creatively about how to use their budgets effectively and enhance the financial, physical, and emotional support they offer their staff.

The advice comes amid news that employee departure remains strong – with findings from PwC revealing that more are considering switching jobs now than they did two years ago. In addition to offering holistic support, Reward Gateway’s report also suggested the following steps to recruit and retain talent:

– Redefine the employee/employer relationship

– Embrace workplace flexibility

– Foster a sense of belonging

Flexibility, a sense of belonging, and support are the three biggest demands of employees that could also potentially hold the keys to reduce attrition in the workplace.

The report recommends that in order to stay competitive, business leaders have to look at their Employee Value Proposition and think about how it stacks up to the demands and expectations of today’s employees.
