_nology’s mission is to break down barriers and empower individuals from diverse backgrounds to embark on fulfilling careers in technology, ultimately fostering more sustainable and innovative tech workforces. Our Pathway To Tech Programs, which include 8-12 weeks of comprehensive full-stack training followed by 18-month job placements, are designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills to excel in technology teams. This approach is setting a new standard for delivering best-in-class Software, Cloud, Data, QA, and Testing engineers to the sector. 

Championing Inclusivity and Diversity 

The success of _nologists, our highly skilled employees who undergo training, upskilling, and secure employment with hiring partners, highlights the impact of fostering non-traditional pathways into tech roles. Continuous support for _nologists ensures their smooth transition into new careers and aids in the development and adaptability of digital skills crucial for success in the tech industry.  

We actively seeking out high-potential individuals, regardless of their educational background or prior experience, and provide them with the necessary training and support to cultivate a more diverse talent pool. Since our Australian launch in 2020, 51% of our trainees have been women and non-binary individuals, with 87% being career changers from non-STEM or non-tech backgrounds. Introducing new and diverse talent to the sector enriches companies with a diversity of thought, perspectives, problem-solving capabilities, and human-centred skills.  

Under the leadership of Roisin O’Neill, our Australian team, 80% of whom are women, is dedicated to supporting underrepresented groups to begin their careers in tech.

Addressing the Skills Shortage 

_nology’s training programs are actively addressing the technology skills shortage in Australia, which is anticipated to reach a shortfall of 180,000 tech professionals by 2030 without radical changes to training & hiring practices. By customising our curriculum to align with the specific needs of our hiring partners, we ensure that _nologists are equipped and ready to meet the demands of the latest tech roles. This approach not only offers organisations a cost-effective recruitment solution but also fosters a more inclusive and diverse tech workforce. 

Our partnerships with over 26 organisations across various sectors including ANZ, Sydney Airport, Macquarie and AGL, highlight the value of diverse talent pools meeting strategic workforce goals.
