LinkedIn announces their latest authenticity feature for recruiters: Recruiter Verification will indicate whether someone is a legitimate recruiter by verifying their professional identity and making this information visible to job seekers.
The world’s largest professional networking platform recognises that authenticity and transparency are key to creating meaningful interactions – this announcement follows the recent roll-out of their free verification for members.

The ‘Verified Recruiter’ label indicates that a recruiter’s workplace has been verified using information based on their LinkedIn Recruiter corporate subscription. It will be visible near the recruiter’s name in ‘InMails’, in the ‘About’ section on their LinkedIn profile, and on the jobs they post.
Recruiter Verification will be available to recruiters across the globe who use LinkedIn Recruiter in the next few days.
Luke Mckend, Senior Director at LinkedIn UK said: “We’re focused on delivering what our members and customers expect of LinkedIn – a safe and trusted professional environment where they can build their careers and grow their businesses. Adding this additional layer of identity verification for recruiters helps our members make more informed decisions about the people and businesses they interact with. And with this launch, we introduce verification options that cater to every aspect of the job search process – for recruiters, job seekers, and job postings.”
