TALiNT Partners hosted the TIARA UK & Ireland Recruitment Awards for 2023 and celebrated a night of exceptional achievements and a profound commitment to the staffing industry across the UK.

Held at The Brewery in London, the gala event brought together 500 recruitment leaders and industry professionals to honour the best in the UK staffing sector.

The event was a testament to resilience, innovation, and inclusion, themes that have been central to the TIARAs in previous years. “The pace of change in recruitment has accelerated so much that only those recruiters with the right vision and capability to adapt have been able to capitalize on demand in the boom and sustain growth in the downturn,” said Alex Evans, Managing Director of TALiNT Partners.

The shortlist of 70 staffing firms, collectively representing a turnover of £9.7 billion and employing 25,521 talented individuals, showcased the industry’s leaders and top employers of choice. The competition was fierce, with 17 categories recognising excellence.

InterEx Group and SF Recruitment emerged as the night’s biggest winners, receiving double honours. InterEx Group was recognized for “Growth” and “Best Recruitment Company to Work For” in the £50 million to £100 million revenue category, while SF Recruitment took home awards for “Leader of the Year” and “Best Recruitment Company to Work For” in the £20 million to £50 million revenue category.

Forward Role Recruitment for “Best Recruitment Company to Work For” in the £5 million to £20 million revenue category, and Nexus Search for “Scale Up Recruitment Company of the Year.”

The prestigious title of “Recruitment Leader of the Year” was awarded to Saira Demmer, CEO of SF Recruitment. She was lauded for her outstanding leadership, guiding her team through challenging times while fostering an inclusive culture that maximised opportunities for growth.

Ged Mason, CEO of Morson Group, was honoured with a well-deserved place in the TIARA Hall of Fame for his remarkable career within the industry. He not only built a billion-dollar turnover business in the UK and North America but also made significant contributions to local charities and advanced social mobility through recruitment.

Jason Martin, Head of Strategy, Recruitment, at Access Group, the headline partner of the TIARA Recruitment Awards for the past decade, commended the dedication of this year’s winners and finalists.
