Tuesday 18th March 2025: TALiNT Partners today announces a new charity partner for Europe’s TIARA Talent Tech Star Awards to honour industry legend Ryan McCabe.

The Ryan McCabe Foundation was set up by his wife Roisin McCabe after he tragically passed away on 22nd June last year. The Foundation supports several charities championed by Ryan including Teenage Cancer Trust, Macmillan Cancer Support, Andy Mans Club, Eilidh’s Rainbow, and Make-A-Wish UK.

Commenting on this announcement, TALiNT Partners MD Alex Evans said: “Ryan won numerous TIARA Talent Tech Star Awards for Odro and his own leadership, including our biggest accolade, the Champion of Champions Award, so it’s a fitting legacy to support causes that were so close to his heart. Ryan embodied the qualities of innovation, leadership, and collaboration that TIARA judges still look for every year, so I’m glad we’ll be able to raise a glass to Ryan and his legacy again this year.

“We also want to keep the momentum going on Roisin’s #RunForRyan campaign, with hundreds of leaders across the industry contributing to this charity and taking over LinkedIn to show their support.”

The first 300 places for an in-person charity run at Chatelherault Country Park, Hamilton on 8th March sold out in a few days, with sign-ups to the virtual event from around the country, and the world, with supporters posting from Sydney to Boston and Dubai.

Commenting on this campaign and charity partnership, Roisin McCabe said: “Bringing people together was what Ryan loved to do. In a storm of grief and adapting to life without him, it brings so much comfort in carrying on Ryan’s legacy in doing what he did best: helping others and making a positive difference to people. Run for Ryan last week epitomised that, by bringing people together globally in his name. I am delighted TALiNT Partners are making such a fitting tribute to Ryan in supporting the Ryan McCabe Foundation, where people’s donations will go straight towards charities which make a real difference to people’s lives. I’m hugely looking forward to seeing industry peers coming together on the night of the TIARA Awards and I’m beyond grateful for TALiNT Partners support.”

The entry deadline for the 2025 awards is Friday 4th April and this year’s winners will be announced at a black-tie gala dinner on Thursday 26th June at the Carlton Tower Jumeirah, in London.
